You were just diagnosed with periodontal disease.  OMG!  How could this happen??  You swear you are doing a good job at home.  Well, don't panic and let’s discuss it.

            Ok, since you read the previous blog, now it's treatment time.  Based on the amount of bone loss we are able to treat the disease here in our office with scaling and root planing.  If the disease has progressed significantly we may refer you to a periodontal specialist.

Don’t Ignore Bleeding Gums

For some reason, most people I talk to have the same feeling toward bleeding gums. In my life before dentistry, I was part of that group thought too.  What is it about our oral health or bleeding gums that is so “shrug” ready?  Are bleeding gums something you should be concerned about?
